Do not be fooled by their 30 day Money
back Guarantee. (It may not last much longer)
Here is part of an
email from David Koh the original seller of the M-788
Hi Mark,
How are you doing? I've closed my business for good, as you're right
about the m788 it's not a reliable machine.
I don't think robomaid will be in the business for long, as they
will have many returns and faulty units in 6 months time.
At the beginning I was making good income, but then when the
problems arise the income was getting less as I have to refund or
replace customers for their faulty machine.
plus the headches and stress of all the returned units are not worth
my precious time.

These sellers boast that this model has a UV light that
will supposedly sterilise your floor, but if you read their wording it says
"can" kill
"up to"
97% of bacteria Not
"will kill 97% of bacteria." |
| |
| Our research has found that you need at least 10 seconds
of UV light exposure at 25 Watts to effectively kill 99.9% Bacteria. With even
the slowest travelling speed, any one square centimetre area of floor is exposed
for less than 1 second by these machines, so their small (around 30mm wide) low
watt bulb would therefore be killing a lot less than the implied 97% leaving the
strongest bacteria to multiply quickly! |
|
| Robomaid noisily hammers furniture with a hard plastic
bumper & clumsy cleaning pattern, it has a loud motor which quite frankly does
not have a smooth quality sound to it. |
| |
| We will organise an In Home Demo and you can see exactly what our models will
do for you. |
| |
| The Robomaid RM-770 only has 2000 mAh battery that takes
4 hours of charging to work at 10-15 watts for around 60 minutes
Definitely not 70-90 minutes as claimed by Robomaid. (Refer to
See for yourself Link on previous Page) |
| |
| Our models have a Lithium-ion battery that
charges in 2 - 2.5
hours and works at 30 watts for around 80 - 90 minutes, this depends on whether it is
on Carpet or Hard floor. |
| |
| With a clear line of sight our Robot Vacuums can pick up the dock signal from
around 10 metres. The M-788 or Robomaid has
to come within 2 metres of its dock to have any chance of finding it. |
| |
| It is no comparison to Yujin Robot models, it does not
have anywhere near the quality of sensors, motors, battery, filtering or even
the plastic & material used in manufacture. Claimed UV sounds good
but in reality it is not truly effective. In our testing we found it to be an
inefficient vacuum that picked up about half as much as Yujin Robot models. |
| |
| |
| This
M-788 model sold as Robomaid & Vacuum Robot in Australia is made out to be good
value for being cheaper, when in actual fact this by far inferior cheap product
(around $135 to buy) has a high mark up. |
| |
| A
claimed RRP of $599 which is more than 3 times a landed buy price of around $180.
|
| |
| And
even after their supposed generous discounts of up to 35% there is still a mark
up of over 100% so you actually are still paying more than you should really be
paying for this product! |
| |
| Be
assured this M-788 or Robomaid is proof of the old adage "You
get what you pay for" |
| |
| If you really want
a Robot Vacuum for cheaper then buy the M-788.... You will definitely get
cheaper! |
